pH Corrector TM «Galicina» is an acidity regulator used for pH level stabilization in working solutions used in the agricultural sector and for the purposes of crop production. With the help of organic acid-based preparation, chemical solutions acquire stable acidity levels. At once, the preparation softens water and helps increase the efficiency of solutions, particularly plant protection products, growth stimulators and various agrochemicals.

The principle of action

The basis of pH Corrector by TM «Galicina» is a compound of organic acids mixed in a certain proportion, which decreases pH levels in working solutions effectively and safely by preventing the effects of alkaline hydrolysis occurring when sensitive agrochemicals or pesticides are dissolved in water. Due to high rates of alkaline and Calcium/Magnesium ions in the solution, complex pesticide molecules can break down into simple compounds that are inert and poorly absorbed by plants. Additionally, the acidity regulator pH Corrector provides the following effects:

● It softens water in working solutions, as hard water worsens the homogeneity of mixing solutions, especially when mixing components in powder form.

● The product increases the solution’s stability rates.

● It helps optimize the consumption of pesticides and agrochemicals by increasing their effectiveness.

● It improves the compatibility of solution components due to the prevention of alkaline hydrolysis.

pH Corrector, as an acidity regulator, softens hard water and isolates Calcium and Magnesium ions in it, which are present in high-carbonate water. Due to these harmful ions, the stability of the solution and its efficiency may decrease, and with the help of the pH Corrector, you can reduce the risks of decreased efficiency of agrochemicals, and you’ll be able to optimize their consumption rates.

Where is pH Corrector used?

The product is used for the preparation of working solutions for pre-sowing seed treatment with growth stimulants and pesticides, post-sowing field treatment, and plant treatment during the growing season to protect against diseases and pests. The action of the preparation is aimed at stabilizing the pH level in the working solution and enhancing the effects of the key components of agrochemicals. You can use pH Corrector from TM "Galicina" combined with most agrochemicals, except for concentrated alkaline fertilizers and preparations containing calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg). 

Methods of application and dosage

The preparation is suitable for use with most agrochemicals, fertilizers, plant protection products and growth stimulants except concentrated alkaline fertilizers and preparations containing calcium and magnesium. You can easily prepare a working solution with the addition of pH Corrector according to the following scheme:

● For soft (low-carbonate) water: 30-80 ml / 100 l of solution

● For hard (high-carbonate) water: 100-200 ml / 100 l of solution


Caution: The final pH level when adding pH Corrector should be measured before using the working solution using a pH meter or indicator strips. It is also recommended to check the phytotoxicity and stability of the solution before mixing. 

Safety precautions and toxicity

The product is toxic for men. Please, keep the pH Corrector out of reach of children. If the product gets into your eyes or on your skin, immediately rinse the area with plenty of water. 

Compatibility

pH Corrector is suitable for use with agrochemicals, growth stimulants, fertilizers, and pesticides that do not contain alkalis, calcium, and magnesium.

Storage conditions

pH Corrector should be kept in a closed container at a temperature of +5 C to +25 C in a dry, closed room without direct sunlight and out of the reach of children. The shelf life under these conditions is 36 months
